Fluoroadditive CPH400 is a white PTFE powder specialized for use
as an additive to impart low surface energy and other
fluoropolymer attributes. CPH400 may improve the wear resistance
of thermoplastics or coating materials and enhance their
nonstick, lubricity and antifriction properties. Added to
lubricants, it can enhance performance under severe conditions.
CPH400 can be used at temperature from -190¡æ to 250¡æ (-310¨F to
480¨F)
CPH400 is generally designed to used as an additive, although it
can also be used alone as a dry lubricants. It is unsuitable to
be used as a molding or extrusion resin to replace for any of
the high molecular weight PTFE resin.
CPH400 is inert to all chemicals and solvent. It is a good
electrical insulator, does not absorb water, and is highly
resistant to weathering.
Application
CPH400 is used as an additive in plastics to improve nonstick
performance and enhance frictional characteristics. The tendency
for surface blemishes to appear in injection molded
thermoplastic parts is minimize with TP300 (at up to about 20%
by weight). Plastics can be benefit in this manner including
polycarbonates, polyacetals, polyamides, polyesters,
polysulfides and polyfulfones.
CPH400 may be used as a component of articles intended for
repeated use in contact with food in compliance with 21 CFR
177.1550 and other FDA regulations.

Packing
Packed in 25Kg plastic drum. Eight drums are packed on one
pallet for easy shipping, handling and storage.
Safety Precaution
Before using CPH400 please read the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
carefully.
Open and use containers only in well-ventilated areas using
local exhaust ventilation. Vapor and fumes liberated during hot
processing, or from smoking tobacco or cigarettes contaminated
with CPH400, may cause flu-like symptoms (chill, fever, sore
throat). Vapor and fumes liberated during hot processing should
be exhausted completely from work area. Contamination of tobacco
with CPH400 should be avoided.
Mixtures with some finely divided metals, such as magnesium or
aluminum, can be flammable or explosive under some conditions. |
